Libyan, Tunisian Ras Ajdair Border Crossing to Open on First of April

Djerba, Tunisia_ Libyan and Tunisian custom officials have announced today that the Ras Ajdair border crossing will be opened on first of April.

The officials have signed an MOU today in the city of Djerba outlining the steps needed from the two countries to facilitate people and goods crossing after they have stopped since the start of the covid-19 epidemic.

A large number of trucks loaded with goods are stranded now on the both sides of the border.

A few days ago President Qayes Saiad of Tunisia visited Tripoli and met with the President of the Presidential Council and with the Prime Minister during which the two parties discussed the reactivating of economic activities.
