Tripoli_ A high-level Chinese economic and commercial delegation from Kimberley CAPITAL Holding Company is visiting Libya these days and consulting with Libyan authorities, companies and businessmen about investment and securing deals related to the rebuilding of the country, reported LANA.

On first of April, Libyan Foreign Minister Najla al-Mangoush on Wednesday met with Mr. Qimin in Tripoli and discussed cooperation between the two countries.

She expressed hopes for the return of the Chinese Embassy to Libya’s capital Tripoli and its opening a consulate in the eastern city of Benghazi, noting the Embassy’s return would pave the way for the return of Chinese companies to complete suspended projects and contribute to the rebuilding of Libya.

The delegation included experts in oil, construction, bridges, oil and seaports and infrastructure.

Libyan officials are keen for learning from the Chinese experience in reconstruction and development. There are unfinished projects that Chinese companies started them a decade ago and need to be completed.
