Tripoli_The United Nations Children’s Emergency Fund (UNICEF) said today it supplied 74 refrigerating units to help establish a high-quality cold chain that allows health workers to roll-out lifesaving covid-19 vaccination.
The refrigerators art to be distributed on 46 municipalities around Libya. UNICEF is working with the Ministry of Health and other authorities to get the program going smoothly.
The refrigerators are delivered with voltage regulators and temperature monitoring devices that alert the health workers if the cold chain is disturbed to take action.
