Tripoli_ There have been 376 New Cases and 3 Deaths of covid-19 recorded in Libya on Thursday 8 June by the National Center for Disease Control in Tripoli, according to a statement released by the center.
The center also said it recorded 211 cases of recovery on the same day, distributed over seven cities, of which 170 cases recovered in the capital Tripoli.
This brings the total cases that have recovered since the start of the epidemic to 173,394 while the number of deaths increased to 3,158, and the total number of infected people rose to nearly 189,000.
The latest released numbers of the active cases is at 11,000. The average death rate from covid-19 in Libya is at 1.7%.
